The Last Husband Blog Tour and iPad Mini Giveaway!!

The Last Husband (Forever Love #2) by JS Cooper

Lucky wanted a guy to be her last boyfriend but she never counted on love not being enough.
Lucky Morgan fantasized about the hot guy from her diner for months. And when he offered her a dream job, she jumped at the chance to get to know him better.
Zane Beaumont was skeptical about love and guarded his heart. Even though he was falling for Lucky, he was still scared to fully let go. So he makes a decision that may ruin their once chance at happiness.
Both of their lives are turned upside down by some unexpected news and Lucky has to decide, once and for all, if Zane is the guy she wants to spend her forever with.

“If that’s what you want,” he called through the door and groaned. “If anyone is looking through the window right now they will think I’m an idiot.” He laughed, a wry tone in his voice.
“Why?” I asked suspiciously.
“Because I’m leaning against the door with my ear pressed against it closely, so I can hear what you’re saying clearly.”
“Oh, Zane.” I walked quickly to the door and opened it. He was standing there in his boxer shorts, just staring at me. His eyes were serious as he studied me in my big, fluffy towel and he half-smiled before turning away from me. He had a small package in his hands and he held it towards me with a sheepish smile. “I got you something.”
“What?” I looked up at him in shock and surprise. “Oh, Zane, you didn’t have to get my anything.”
“Open it.” His lopsided, eager smile stopped my protestations and I took the package from his hands.
“I can’t believe you got me a gift.” My voice was emotional. I was touched by his gesture as I unwrapped it carefully.
“You’re so much more patient than me.” He laughed. “I would have ripped that paper off so quickly.”
“We can reuse the paper if there are no rips.”
“Reuse?” He looked at me in amusement and I laughed.
“When you grow up poor, you learn how to be thrifty.”
“There’s nothing wrong with that.” I looked up into his eyes and I smiled gratefully at him, happy that he understood what money to meant to me.
I peeled the wrapping paper off of a small box and opened it slowly. My heart was beating rapidly and I was excited to see what he had gotten me.

“Wait.” Zane held up a hand. “Don’t open it yet.”

All of my books are set in cities and States I have lived in.
I've always wanted to be a screenwriter
I love Bradley Cooper
I was born in London, England
I'm addicted to a website called blindgossip.

This book was good, the story line had more drama than its predecessor. I really, really liked the last 30% of this book. My one big gripe is with the chemistry between Lucky and Zane. The butterflies are missing for me. Their relationship is based upon 80% sex, plus there are times when I really think Zane can be kinda harsh. Other than that, it's quite an enjoyable book, and you gotta love the locations this book is set in! Pick it up and give it a try :)
