Title: Separation Anxiety
Author: Lisa Suzanne
Release Date: February 3, 2014
Separation.
We all get one true love in our lives, and it’s up to us to find it. Fate will act and try to push us together, but ultimately it’s up to us to recognize who that one person is when he’s standing in front of us.
It turns out that I recognized who my one person was when I was separated from my husband.
Anxiety.
On the same day I determined that I was finally going to file for divorce, I confessed my secret to Jesse Drake, my swoon-worthy colleague known for his womanizing ways. Jesse invited me to crash with him, and with each new piece of the enigmatic Jesse puzzle that I started to fit into place, I found myself wondering if Fate had pushed us together for a reason.

If only my husband would stop getting in the way of the man with whom I was meant to be.

“So, if you’re picky with women, why flavors of the week and not something more

permanent?” I asked, knowing my bold statement never would’ve come out of my mouth if

I wasn’t already wine drunk.

He shrugged and took a sip of his wine, avoiding eye contact.

“You’re a catch, Jesse. You work with kids. You’re good with wood. You make a mean

chicken marsala. You’re hot as hell.”

His eyes snapped sharply up to mine at my last words, and I realized what the hell had

slipped out of my mouth just a moment too late.

Fucking wine.

My face was already flushed from the wine, and I think I might’ve turned purple from

embarrassment. I could not believe I just said that.

What the hell was I thinking?

This man was kind enough to extend an invitation for me to stay with him, and I just

told him I thought he was hot. Or, more specifically, I told him that I thought he was “hot

as hell.”

What. The. Fuck.

Something was wrong with me.

Seriously.

Cue minifreak out number two for this meal, but this time it was because I was actually

freaking out.

I played it off by drinking some more wine, pretending like I hadn’t just said that.

But Jesse didn’t let it slide.

“Hot as hell, huh?” he murmured.

Fuck.

I put my elbows on the table and buried my face in my hands.

“Oh my God. I can’t believe I just said that.”

I felt his hands over mine. He forced my hands from my face, and when I opened my

eyes, he was sitting in the chair next to me. He had been stealthy; I hadn’t even heard

him move, and suddenly we were nearly nose to nose as he held my wrists in his hands.

“Hot as hell?” he repeated one more time, that dangerous, sexy depth back in his low

voice.

“Can we just pretend like you didn’t hear that part?” I whispered, nervous with him so

damn close to me, his hands wrapped around my wrists.

He shook his head slowly and arched an eyebrow. “Fuck no, we can’t.”

Ocean's Collide Book Blast and Giveaway!!

Title: Ocean’s Collide (Oceans Trilogy #1)
Author: M.A. DeOlmos
Genre: New Adult 18+
Publication Date: December 3, 2013
Event Organized By: Literati Author Services, Inc.
My name is Livie Marie Acosta. I am a firm believer that childhood memories are supposed to be happy, joyous, and beautiful. I also believe everyone else in life has just that… except for me, of course.

I came close to having that once with my own family. I had a loving mother that treated me like her little princess. My father was, and still is, the biggest support system in my life, but even his love isn’t enough for me at times. I would have been a proud big sister at the age of seven, but Antonio Jr. was torn away from us before he was even born.

I was destined to be alone and hurt, both emotionally and physically scarred.

The only skeletons that remained of my once happy family was a father I adored, but who lived hundreds of miles away, and a mother whom I had spent most of my own life saving from her demons.

Like many people, they are scarred so deep that when they bleed, it is a reminder that they are still human.

I have a secret. A secret only I know about. I keep my secret well, and keep it hidden from the peeping eyes of the world.

At least I tried… that is until two angels barged into my life, and into my scattered heart. Their presence in my life spun me on my heels, turning my world yet again upside down, and right side up all at the same time.

What I find could either save me, or finally push me over the edge.

Here is my story…

“Don’t call me that.” I screamed back as I stormed out of his bedroom towards the living room. As I turned the sharp corner to give him a rather large piece of my mind for calling me by my birth name, I tripped over my feet and collided with a body. Only this body wasn’t Law’s, I felt the distinction instantly. This massive rock hard frame sent chills through my entire body and had my womb vibrating in a way I’ve never experienced before. I’ve pleasured myself but this was a thousand times more intense. “Hey slow down Zena.” The voice spoke to me and I swear I was about to have a massive orgasm any second.

The strangers strong and beautifully built arms came up and he steadied me with his hands on my shoulders. The current that was racing through my body jacked up a million fucking notches. Since my off the shoulder top was hanging dangerously low, the skin-to-skin contact was making me dizzy. I squeezed my knees together to fight for some form of control over my pussy. I looked up at the stranger who was also the same height as Law at about six foot two or maybe three. His tan was perfect defining his sharp jaw and facial features. His eyes were a warm milk chocolate brown that looked like they were rippling with deep sprinkles of green. His lips, oh my god his lips. He had those Tom Hardy lips that a girl just wanted to kiss, bite, suck, nip, and just do dirty things to. The right side of his mouth turned up into a smirk and the leaky faucet between my thighs finally sprung a massive panty-drenching leak. This gorgeous man standing in front of me looked like the best of Stephen Amell, Jon Ryan, Alex Pettyfer, and Tom Hardy all rolled up into one fucking dangerous beast.

His shoulders where wide and broad great for boxing. His torso reminded me of Law’s, long, lean, and well defined. He had on a black fitted T that was stretching to the max over his sculpted muscles and his dark denim Abercrombie jeans where dangerously low showing off the tips of his boxer briefs. “You okay Zena?” The deep voice asked again. Even his voice was too sexy to be legal. It sounded bad enough to be bottled up and sold as an illegal substance. It was deep and rumbled as he rolled the words off of those juicy lips. Shaking my head to clear away the spell I allowed myself to be pulled under I looked up into his eyes.

“The names Livie not Zena, and you are?” I didn’t mean to sound so bitchy but no one in the history of my life had been able to bring out that strong of a reaction out of me and my lady parts. Virgin lady parts at that! “I know I heard you yelling at Law for calling you Livie, is there something I’m missing?” he asked me as he leaned forwarded causing me to take an awkward step back. What the hell, I never back down from anyone! This sexy son of a bitch was pissing me off. “I don’t care what you heard. To you its Livie and to Law its Sunshine! You don’t need to know why and I don’t care to share why. Don’t call me Zena again!”

“I see you two have met.” I heard Law say from the hallway. The frown on his face and the way he was staring down this stranger put me at ease a little. He caught my gaze and winked at me. “Sunshine this here arrogant douche bag is my cousin Ocean Nathanial Hawthorne.”

My name is Melissa DeOlmos, a newbie to the world of indie writing. I live in sunny side Palm Bay, Florida with my two lovely crazies ages five and two, along with my Law Enforcement champ of a husband. I could say that writing novels has been a passion that I’ve always pursued, but I can’t.

Writing for me has always been my own secret escape into a land of wonders, opportunities; loves and so much trouble that I sometimes wonder if I need medication for the stories that pop into my head. I am now deciding to share my mystical mind and stories with the world, so that hopefully others may also find that little something extra they’ve been looking for. Thank you and I hope you enjoy my books.

Eva and Luca are thrust into a world where their love is tested and darkness reigns. Amid chaos and treachery, love and hate, Luca and Eva learn one important thing.

Love is dangerous.

But it also might be the one thing that can save them all.

********
The Minaldi Legacy consists of two parts, part one: Of Blood and Bone and part two: Of Darkness and Demons. It contains adult themes and content.

With my grasp firm, I slide my hand up and down his shaft, smiling a little as I feel the tremors in his abdomen.  He likes my touch and he leans into it as I move my hand.  I decide to take it a step further and with my eyes still joined with his, I lick a trail from his abdomen to his nipple.  When I arrive, I trace a little circle around it with my tongue before I slip it into my mouth and suck.
He almost gasps as he grabs my shoulders and moves me away.
“If you don’t want me to come in your hand right now, you need to stop,” he rasps.
I can’t help but smirk.  He smiles at that, wolfish and wicked, and I know that I am in trouble.
He bends in front of me yet again, rocking me backward until I am once again lying in front of him.  He hovers above me, his stare still frozen to mine as he slides first one finger into me, then two.  I feel tremors rippling through my belly and I can’t breathe again.  The friction is exquisite and I never want it to stop.
And then he withdraws his fingers, and very, very purposefully puts one in his mouth.  Still staring me in the eye, he slides his finger in and sucks the taste of me off.
Oh, holy hell.  I’ve never seen anything sexier than that.
Luca’s eyes are a stormy, stormy black as he looks into mine.  His gaze is on fire and it sets me ablaze as he bends until his face is mere centimeters from mine.
“I want to be inside you, Eva.”
I look at him.
“You called me Eva,” I state simply.
He smiles against my lips.
“I think we’re friends now.”

3.5 Stars

First, I love Courtney Cole!

With that being said, this was not one of my favorites. I am terrible with suspense/thriller books! They get under my skin and I have to physically restrain myself from skipping to the end to see what happens.

The Minaldi Legacy was definitely one of those books. I thought for the first part of book one that there was a paranormal aspect to it, which I would've loved, but sadly that wasn't the case. I was intrigued while reading it, but couldn't believe it once things had unfolded. There was a darkness to this book and the first book had a truly heartbreaking moment and I grieved for Eva.

Overall, it was an intriguing read that had variety of emotional components.. steam, grief, love, and longing. If you like suspense you'll like this one.

The Deep End of the Sea Release Day Launch and Giveaway!!

Title: The Deep End of the Sea
Author: Heather Lyons
Publication date: 2/13/14
What if all the legends you’ve learned were wrong?

Brutally attacked by one god and unfairly cursed by another she faithfully served, Medusa has spent the last two thousand years living out her punishment on an enchanted isle in the Aegean Sea. A far cry from the monster legends depict, she’s spent her time educating herself, gardening, and desperately trying to frighten away adventure seekers who occasionally end up, much to her dismay, as statues when they manage to catch her off guard. As time marches on without her, Medusa wishes for nothing more than to be given a second chance at a life stolen away at far too young an age.

But then comes a day when Hermes, one of the few friends she still has and the only deity she trusts, petitions the rest of the gods and goddesses to reverse the curse. Thus begins a journey toward healing and redemption, of reclaiming a life after tragedy, and of just how powerful friendship and love can be—because sometimes, you have to sink in the deep end of the sea before you can rise back up again.

“Where are Hades and Persephone?” I ask, glancing around the empty living room. They are nowhere to be seen tonight; neither are any of the Automatons.
The corner of Hermes’ mouth quirks. “Out. Possibly in the Underworld. One never knows with those two.”
Relief unfurls in the muscles in my shoulders. Still, I can’t help but ask, “Without saying goodbye?”
He’s definitely amused. “Shall I fetch them for you?”
“No!” My answer is too quick, which I fear broadcasts just how ecstatic I am at the thought of being along with Hermes right now. And that realization causes me to blush for the millionth time around him in the last month, so I clarify, “Of course not. I was just curious.”
“Curiosity killed the cat, you know.” To my delight, his hand finds mine and our fingers intertwine. It is a delicious sensation: his hand, warm and worn in mine in just such a way that feels like it’s an extension of my body.
It must be criminal to adore touching someone so much.
“Did it, though?” I ask, and he laughs a burst of exasperated air.
“Possibly, but then again, who am I to judge, when I am often struck by curiosity that I cannot help but sate?” He gives me that dazzling grin of his and pulls me through the house. “Case in point: you.”
“Me?” I squeak unattractively. There are lights ahead through the French doors leading to the patio, and I am curious myself enough to wonder what they are, but not nearly as much as I am for what he might mean.
“Yes, you.” He glances back at me. “I’ve never told you that I was overcome with curiosity when I heard Athena cursed some girl from one of her temples. It wasn’t like it was the first time she’d gone vindictively bonkers, but she was really put out over you. I mean . . . one of her followers? Even that was low for her.” His fingers squeeze mine gently and we stop about twenty feet from the doors. “When I first showed up on your island . . .”
I am helpless at looking anywhere but in his eyes. Tonight, they’re green. Vivid, beautiful, clear green. “Yes?”
“I’d been warned that you were a monster and that I best keep my distance. That you would slay me at the slightest provocation, and naturally, I believed it, as I could not blame anyone’s hatred toward my family after what my sister and uncle had done to you. But once Death handed me that first soul and departed, I heard you crying. My curiosity inflamed tenfold. What kind of so-called monster weeps like her heart had shattered and never would form whole again?”
Like clockwork, my cheeks burn. His fingers brush my reddened skin ever so gently before I turn my face to rest in his hand. The butterflies in my chest swarm frantically. “My sister misjudged you. I knew that the very second I heard your anguish. I’m afraid I was lost to you from that moment on. I had to discover all that made you you, even if I would suffer the same fate as the proverbial cat. And I never cared about the risks, as long as my curiosity about you was sated first.”
“Truly?” The word barely escapes my lips.
His eyes are so intense. “Truly.”
