Leo Review and Giveaway!!

Leo (Sign of Love, #1)Leo by Mia Sheridan

Evie and Leo met in foster care as children and formed a bond of friendship. As they grew, their bond turned to love and they vowed to make a life together when they turned 18 and were no longer a part of the system.

When Leo unexpectedly gets adopted as a teen and he moves to another city, he promises Evie that he will contact her as soon as he gets there and come back for her in a few short years. She never hears from him again.

Now eight years later, in spite of the odds, Evie has made a life for herself. She has a job, she has friends, she's content. Then a man shows up out of the blue, claiming that her long lost love, Leo, sent him to check up on her. The attraction between them is undeniable. But, should she trust this sexy stranger? Or is he keeping a secret about what his connection to Leo is really all about and why Leo disappeared all those years ago?

New Adult Contemporary Romance: Due to strong language and sexual content, this book is not intended for readers under the age of 18.

My Review

LEO was seriously, deliciously, FAN-FREAKIN-TASTIC!! I am still FANGIRLING over this!

I just love this story! Its almost too hard for me to put into words how much I love this book! It is filled with so much pain and love, longing and regret, but it is also inspiring. I swear, about 10% into the book and I'm in tears! The way the story is written adds so much to the angst and longing of this book. Sheridan gives us spinets of the past, while Evie's present story unfolds. I am glad that Leo sent Jake to deliver the news. Jake is wonderful and sexy; he was determined to get to know her. As the story builds so does the relationship between Jake and Evie, but will she ever forget her love for Leo?

Cover and Writing
I love the cover, it's sexy and contemporary. Sheridan's writing style is great. It's easy to read without being too simple. Once I started reading this amazing story I couldn't put it down if I tried. One component that I loved about this story, is that is was dark and light at the same time. It was funny and angsty and sexy! It had a great ending too!

Main Character
Evie couldn't have been a better main character. She was sarcastic, smart, realistic, and so sweet. She was so caring even considering the hand that she had been dealt. I like that she's a book lover and future writer. But the thing I love most about her are the stories that she tells! That is my favourite part of the book!

Swoonworthy Points: 9.5
This story has you falling in love two different times, one with young Leo and one with Jake! The passion and steam that Jake brings to the story is perfect! Here's some of my favourite parts:

He's looking at me intensely now like he can read my mind. Which of course, he can. Maybe I'm an open book, or maybe love is like a magnifying glass straight into the souls of those who own your heart.

He walks in without being invited and suddenly his hands are cupping my jaw and pulling me firmly to his body.
Hi.
There is a second where our eyes meet and I register the fire in his before his mouth crashes down on mine.
I make a noise in the back of my throat and lift my arms around his neck.
His tongue sweeps inside my mouth and I whimper as my own tongue meets his.
God, he tastes so good.

Casting
The cover model is great for Evie, and the picture below is who I see for Jake...

Final Thoughts
I wish I had enough money to buy everyone (friends and enemies alike) a copy of this book! It's so great and deserves to be shared. I can't wait to read it again, just thinking about it makes my heart flutter again! You'll definitely be doing a happy dance when you finish reading this!
