The Thrill of It was such a good read! I love Lauren Blakely's writing. I think this book was a bit different than her usual writing, and she executed it well. It's more NA than other books I've read of hers, but still steamy.
Trey meets Harley when she comes into his shop looking for a tattoo, and they end up spending time together. The next day, at the Sex and Love Addictions Anonymous meeting they run into each other.
Harley's mother raised her more like a sister would, exposing her to adult situations at a very early age. To rebel against her mother, she starts working as a Virgin escort for Cam, her pim. He has a very soft spot in his heart for her. He offered her a new life as Layla, whom had all the control that Harley wished she could.
Trey is a broken man that craves sex to cover his guilt and sorrow. He is sweet and caring, and tries very hard to win his battle over his addiction. Together the two help heal each other, but they have to help themselves before they can be with each other.
Overall, I recommend this book if you're looking for a different kind of NA read. The ending will have you on the edge of your seat, anticipating the next book in this series, like me!!
