Rock With Me Blog Tour, Interview, and Giveaway!!

Front Man Leo Nash from the world-famous rock band, Nash, is the last person on earth Samantha Williams would trust. She's already learned about loving a celebrity the hard way and isn't signing up for another lesson.

Every time Sam gives Leo attitude, he wants to knock that chip off her fragile little shoulder. What the hell did he ever do to her, anyway? He's not used to women treating him like he's poisonous, and he isn't about to let her run away every time he gets close. He's had enough of people running away to last him a lifetime...when this one runs, he gives chase. But, catching Sam isn't as hard as he thought.

The sexual attraction between them is so thick, Sam can practically hold it in her hand. There's no way she can deny herself the promise of pleasure being with Leo would provide. But, pleasure always comes with pain and when secrets are revealed and trust is challenged, who will run and who will chase?

Interview with Kristen Proby
Kristen, Hi and thanks for stopping by! Thank you for having me! How fun!

Okay, lets get the tough questions out of the way first.. *bites nails*

Where did the idea for this series come from? I get this one a lot. ;) I actually had no intention of writing a series. CAWM was going to be a stand-alone, but as Luke met the Montgomerys, so did I, and I just knew that all of the brothers and sisters needed their own stories.

What are your thoughts on good/bad reviews? Both good and bad reviews can be helpful, however I try to stay away from reviews altogether. I find that too much criticism makes me question my writing and so when I sit down to write, I'm too preoccupied with, "Would they like this scene?" So, I tend to avoid reviews. That's not to say I don't ever read them, just not usually when I'm in the middle of another project.

If someone were to write a biography about your life, whom would you want to write it and what would the title be? Um, I think I want Kelli Maine to write it. I have no idea what the title would be, but she'd come up with something funny.

How much research do you do to prep for a novel? It depends on the novel. I typically research as I write and come across subjects I know little about, or research landmarks, buildings, etc., so the descriptions in the books are accurate.

What song best describes your writing ethic? I Won't Give Up by Jason Mraz. Even when life is NUTS, I keep writing.

What was the hardest thing about writing Rock With Me? The characters. These two are so different from me or any of the other characters in the series, and they have quite a back story, so writing their story was an emotional journey for me.

Anything you want to share with your readers? I love you guys! Every single one of you.

What's your current faves?
Television Show: The Voice
Ice Cream: Chocolate
Movie: Safe Haven
Song: Between The Raindrops by Lifehouse
Book: Rock My Bed by Michelle Valentine
Quote: "Whether you think you can or you can't, you're right."
Position (reading position that is): I roll all over the bed while reading! ;)

My Review

Rock With Me was smoking hot! I quite enjoyed reading it, there was the perfect amount of angst and a whole lot of swoon! MY GOD! As with the other books in this series, RWM was well written. I loved the duel POV and the cover. The setting was great, and I liked updates from the rest of the cast. I have to say, that I liked the characters in this book best. I love Samantha's smartass mouth, and Leo's everything (as you will read below).
Meet Leo

Tattooed Bad Boy

My eyes travel down his torso, over his sculpted washboard abs, to his stars, and damn, I just want to lick them.

Lyricists

And the shadows in my soul
They are gone

Rockstar

"Are you having fun Seattle?"
I scream and hold the mic out for their response, which is a deafening scream.

Sex God!

He nibbles the corner of my mouth, and then moves in, grips my ponytail in one fist to keep my head tilted back, his other hand wraps around my neck and he kisses me like I've never been kissed before.

And a bit of ALPHA Male :-D

"Stop talking," he commands, his eyes feral and jaw tight, and damn if he doesn't turn me the fuck on.
...
"Do you have any idea how twisted up you have me? You are mine, goddamn it."

Overall, this was a super hot, fun, swoony book that I found hard to put down. I would definitely recommend it!
