I love books that can make the reader feel the emotions of the characters, and two of my favorites this year are Slammed by Colleen Hoover and The Scorpio Races by Maggie Stiefvater. I laughed, cried, loved, etc.
I am most thankful for The Giver by Lois Lowry, I read this in school, and at first didn't want to read it at all, but it wound up igniting my passion for reading! Also, April Raintree by Beatrice Culleton Mosionier, because it's written by someone in my hometown about a problem that really hits home! I'm thankful for the book Let It Snow. It was a collaboration of a short story by John Green, Maureen Johnson and Lauren Myracle.
