The Seven Wicked: First, Review and Giveaway

The Seven Wicked: First (The Seven Wicked, #1)The Seven Wicked: First by C.M. Stunich
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

The Seven Wicked: First, was a fantastic tale with dynamic characters and lots of twists and turns that set the reader on an unpredictable read. A truly exciting yet heart pulling read. Would highly recommend this to anyone who wants to find themselves full emerged and never wishing to leave the delightful tale’s pages. I can't wait to read about the Second Wicked!!

The Wicked are magical monsters that are out to kill Eevee. The first of whom is a wicked scarecrow. Her first encounter with the First, left her freezing cold. So when she meets Caleb, she doesn't know why but she trusted him instantly. They run from the Wicked that are after them, while learning about their past and how to fix their future. They had a few close encounters, but it all went downhill the day of her 17th birthday... the day Caleb dies.

Goodreads Blurb:

“That's just the First," Caleb said, pausing to worry at his lower lip. “And it's only one of seven, Seven Wicked; we can't destroy any of the others until we destroy the First.”

When reincarnated goddess, Eevee Marx, sees the necklace at her local thrift store, she just has to have it. But Eevee has no idea that when she drapes the delicate, silver links over her fingers, she is continuing a legend her spirit had started centuries ago. That when she unhooks the tiny clasp and lays the black and silver pendant against her chest, she will spend the night of her seventeenth birthday holding the dying body of the boy she loves.

The Seven Wicked have been sleeping, preparing for Eevee to touch the necklace and reawaken the powers inside of her. Now, the only thing that stands between them is Caleb, the golden haired boy who will sacrifice himself to save her.

I am a big fan of her writing, and her stories are very Unique. The main characters aren't the typical characters "I don't know I'm hot-but a ton of guys are after me." She writes about Zombies, the Un-dead, and goth girls.

My favorite thus far has been "She Lies Twisted!" I posted a review on it, the story is tragic yet the romance aspect is inspiring. They are all good, and she's a good writer!
