Sorry ahead of time for this little rave about JLA, it is something I have to say...
I just finished reading The Covenant series and The Lux series last month. The writing was of course excellent for both books. She has such skill in making you love certain characters and hate others. Her writing is down to earth! It's hard to find a book that evokes just about every emotion while reading, yet Jennifer has done that with all the books I've read. One minute you are LMAO.. the next your heart hurts (Like Literally Hurts.. Being stabbed over and over hurts!!) Never once have I been bored while reading. In fact I have to reread a lot.. because I am so enthralled with the book I jump ahead on the page then go back to the top. Also, she has quite a handle on swoon-worthy moments and guys with looks to kill!
The Covenant series is an amazing story line.. she doesn't over do the back story. I love the twist that she put on the Greek Mythology. I thought I may need to be on antidepressants by the end of Pure. My direct quote, "Crying like a 5 year old that just lost her sucker." There were lots of ups to the series too! *shivers* Three words... Aiden St. Delphi!!!
But I think the true Genius is the Lux Series. She makes a main character, that is so easy to relate to. Katy is a completely normal girl, a blogger. What better way to show respect to your fans, than to make them a character in your books?! Then you add Daemon to the mix.. I love the fact that she actually gives us someone we can see. Everyone knows what he looks like. (I kinda feel bad for the model though.. I've seen some stalker pics!) My coworkers and I were having a discussion on what Christian Grey should look
For My..er Your Viewing Pleasure:
Anyway, enough raving. Jennifer, if you read this.. I think you're an awesomesauce writer!
Ok.. so I embarked on a mission to read 3-4 books over this holiday weekend. And boy did I accomplish just that! I read Mystic City by Theo Lawrence, Inbetween by Tara Fuller, and Daimon, Half-Blood, and Pure by Jennifer L. Armentrout. The downside to all this reading is that I have to go back through and write reviews on all of them!

I'm so excited to read Mystic City! I can't wait to read your review on it! I haven't read anything by Jennifer L. Armentrout before. I guess I should really get on that! :D

Mystic City was pretty good! I loved the dystopian setting.. it wasn't too much, very believable.
