Speechless-Review

SpeechlessSpeechless by Hannah Harrington

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

4.5 stars This book was fantastical! There were so many lessons to learn (even if you are not a YA!) I loved every message this book had, and the romance aspect was endearing. I wish I had a book like this to read when I were in High School. I loved the contemporary writing, I felt as though a teenager actually wrote it.

Chelsea is the second most popular girls in school, and she was always running her mouth. But that was soon put to a stop when she let something slip that not only put someone in the hospital, but ruined her reputation. Her remedy for this was to take a vow of silence.

Chelsea was all alone, and on top of that she was being harassed by her old friends. Chelsea makes new friends, and learns that her old life was fake. Chelsea works on straightening out her life and working on gaining forgiveness for the wrongs she committed, and she made some new friends along the way.

This book reminded me that, words can hurt.. they could kill. Live life for yourself, don't try to impress others. If they can't appreciate you for you, then it's not worth your time.. there are others that will cherish you.

LOVED this book! Hannah did an awesome job with showing the evils of bullying and the remorse from and repentance from Chelsea.
