Feature and Follow Friday

The Feature & Follow is hosted by TWO hosts, Parajunkee of Parajunkee’s View and Alison of Alison Can Read. Each host will have their own Feature Blog and this way it’ll allow us to show off more new blogs!

Thank you for stopping by my blog! I will follow back, just leave your link in the comment box! Have an awesome weekend!

Q: What hyped up book do you think was not worth all the talk?

(Sorry ahead of time!) I just couldn't get into to Twilight Saga.

Also, stop by Inky Compositions (my writing blog) to congratulate the winners of mine and Kirthi's Writing Contest! There were lots of great entries!

It seems like Twilight is one of the popular answers this week. I really liked the series, but I definitely don't think it's as good as all the hype is making it out to be.

I kind of did it backwards. I read the books out of curiosity because I saw a preview for the movie and thought it looked interesting.

By the second movie I was over it, because I found myself laughing at very inappropriate moments--Bella's "depression".

So yeah, that was a mistake wasting time reading all 4 books.

Here's my Follow Friday

Have a GREAT weekend!

A year after the movie came out and 1/3 of the population loved it - obsessively, 1/3 hated it - whole heartedly and 1/3 didn't care or know about it - absentmindedly, I decided to develop my own opinion on it and read it. I will admit at first it was slow and dragged on forever and Bella was a tad annoying but once I got past the halfway point I started catching onto it more and then ended up finishing the whole series for the point of it. I don't think the series is good or bad but just an average read that sparked the whole vampire-romance thing. Oh well, I'll give twilight points because my serious reading addiction began with Twilight.
