Waiting on Wednesday-(4)

Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly event hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine, that spotlights upcoming releases that we're eagerly anticipating.

Requiem by Lauren Oliver Now an active member of the resistance, Lena has been transformed. The nascent rebellion that was under way in Pandemonium has ignited into an all-out revolution in Requiem, and Lena is at the center of the fight. Of Pandemonium, ALA Booklist noted that “like all successful second volumes, this expands the world and ups the stakes, setting us up for the big finale.”

After rescuing Julian from a death sentence, Lena and her friends fled to the Wilds. But the Wilds are no longer a safe haven—pockets of rebellion have opened throughout the country, and the government cannot deny the existence of Invalids. Regulators now infiltrate the borderlands to stamp out the rebels, and as Lena navigates the increasingly dangerous terrain, her best friend, Hana, lives a safe, loveless life in Portland as the fiancĂ©e of the young mayor. Requiem is told from both Lena’s and Hana’s points of view. The two girls live side by side in a world that divides them until, at last, their stories converge.

I love this series and the end of Pandemonium left me shocked and in tears! What are you waiting for?

Great pick ;) I am just excited for this book to see how it all ends. Since I won't ever read Pandemonium. (Nothing I hate more than love triangles ;p) But I really did love the first book a whole lot :)

The covers for this series are so gorgeous! I'm holding off on Pandemonium until this comes out because my friend told me I really, really had to after she had her heart attack. ;) She leaked a few little spoilers though and I'm really excited about this even though I'm always a little sad when a series ends.

Great pick!

I still need to read Delirium. I hear the series has cliffhangers so I've been waiting until all three are out to start. I'm a cliffhanger wimp :-)

That's a great call.. I think I spent the rest of the day in bed suffering from book depression after Pandemonium! Have you read Before I Fall by LO? It's a great book too!

Um, yes, I need this book badly. I was so furious at the end of Pandemonium that I NEED Requiem to give me some closure. Here's to hoping it sets everything aright (instead of aflame).

Its one of my top ten series for the year! Definitely worth the read, but I would probably take the advice of others and wait until Requium is over.. there are some MAJOR Cliffhangers that'll take your breath away!

I still haven't read this series, but I've heard great things about it! I really like the titles of the books, too. Once I diminsh that pile of bought but unread books on my shelf, I'll make room for it :)

Thanks for stopping by my blog earlier!

I don't have the heart or the courage to read Pandemonium just yet since I hear there is major cliffhanger that induces heart attacks all around and plus I was little spoiled by the ending and well lets just say I'm a Team Alex girl all the way so I'm super duper waiting on this one too! I can't wait. Thanks for stopping by my WoW post too (:
